The Nail Program at CTS Beauty Academy offers a focused curriculum designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the nail care industry. With a comprehensive blend of theoretical learning and hands-on practice, our program prepares students to become proficient nail technicians capable of offering a wide range of nail services. Here's an overview of what our Nail Program entails:
Nail Care Techniques: Students will learn the fundamental techniques of nail care, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, and nail artistry. Through guided instruction and practical experience, students will develop precision and proficiency in performing these essential nail services.
Product Knowledge: Our curriculum includes comprehensive training on nail care products, tools, and equipment used in the industry. Students will gain an understanding of different types of nail polishes, gels, acrylics, and other nail enhancements, as well as proper sanitation and sterilization practices to ensure a safe and hygienic salon environment.
Nail Design and Artistry: From basic designs to intricate nail art techniques, students will explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills in nail design. Whether it's hand-painted designs, embellishments, or nail decals, our program empowers students to express their creativity and offer unique nail designs to their clients.
Client Consultation and Communication: Effective communication is key to building strong client relationships. Our program emphasizes the importance of client consultation, active listening, and communication skills in understanding client preferences and delivering exceptional nail services tailored to their needs.
Business and Professional Development: In addition to technical skills, students will learn essential business and professional skills necessary for success in the nail care industry. Topics covered may include salon management, customer service, retailing, marketing, and professionalism in the workplace.
Credentials: Students receive a Certificate of Completion from CTS Beauty Academy. Graduates test with the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners to receive a Manicuring License.
